To 'Self-Realize' is to come into complete awareness of ones own evanescence, or gradual vanishing, to allow a person true 'self' to come into perception. It is the maturing of an individuals ego or personalty.



The reason this is important is because history is not only a large scale movement, it is also a deeply personal one.

Realizing who you are and how your past affects you is just as important as knowing your future, even more so. However, how you view your own history can be greatly manipulated; not only by others, but by yourself as well. Denial and suppression are deadly weapons in manipulating your own emotional and logical rendering of the past, which come into play during the creation of expectations for yourself.



Self-Realizing is the maturing of yourself, and the awareness of who you are. This is an important step in a persons life, and their history and history in general greatly inpacts how this area of knowledge forms.
