George Orwell

George Orwell was a science fiction writer who was born the 25th of June 1903 and died the 21st of January in 1950. Born as Eric Arthur Blair, he chose his now famous pen name as he evolved into a world renowned novelist and journalist. His most famous work, 1984, is a twisted perspective of the future and in his own words is what the world is coming too. He is considered the 20th century's most celebrated English writer. His dystopian view of the world and his influence on literature are still taught today. 1984 is a intelligence and witty take on the future shows us how history can be manipulated by governments who control every aspect of society and demand conformity.
