Multiple

Perspectives:

How do others view history? different age groups, male/female, different cultures and morals and ethics? Because history is not secluded to one culture or group it adapts to however it is viewed. A 70 year old veteran of Pearl Harbor will have a much different view than 15 year old learning it in school, or more extreme even a 15 year old Japanese student learning about it. To understand history and the way it's manipulated, one must understand how others see the same event. The rape of Nanking is taught very differently in Chinese schools compared to Japanese schools.

Although graphic, this video is a view from a modern perspective  on the Rape of Nanking
