How does technology affect and shape history?

This is an interesting video that explains how technology has  changed so many things in our lives, possibly without people even knowing. This constant change, pushing to make life 'easier' is shaping history with great force. The way history is taught, understood, accessed, and recorded today is greatly affected by improving technologies.

This short animated clip highlights how technology has changed in the classroom setting over time. With an emphasis on learning and the different styles throughout the ages, the video shows how technology affects history. Technology not only shapes the way we learn history, but also the events from the past. With changing technology along comes changing the way historical events are recorded. For example, the Civil War and the World War II differ in the way that they were recorded. Technology changed drastically within the inter war years, of the Civil War and World War II. More documentation and facts are present regarding World War II because of further improvements in technology. The advances allow more people to learn about the events and shape history as well.
