Multiple Perspectives

  • Although the actual events never change, opinions, perspectives, versions and ideas will never stay the same. I personally have observed how differently different generations can look at the same topic. My father was alive and observing the "Arab Israeli" conflict from its official beginning to its tentative end. Because of how it was publicized to the American people at the time, my father has a strong biased and is in support of the Israelis. I on the other hand had no prior knowledge and was not exposed to propaganda when i started to learn about the facts of the conflict. The consequence was i have a much less intense or intimate opinion on the conflict. Mos to of my friends and peers are as well less biased and also less opinionated. We are rather detached from the situation. My father on the other hand views the conflict in a much more intimate way. The same exact conflict with the same exact facts are viewed in very different ways from two different generations.
