We can flashback to the times when churches were the sole governing body of many worldly nations, anything that was said byt the church was to be believed by the people, if one was to rebel, one would be looked down upon within the entire society. In essence, the knowledge held by the people was taken as given, no concrete evidence or explanation may have existed.









Now:

Ever since the beginning of the Renaissance Era, which occurred between the 14th to 17th centuries, knowledge itself has a knew meaning. One may know a fact, but does one truly know why that fact is, well, fact? There are the questions that started to get answered when The Renaissance occurred. Now, we do not believe facts because we were told to, we believe them for the fact that there is empirical evidence that supports them!
