There are many mixed opinions on topics such as scientism and logical positivism, especially from people who are strongly religious. In the modern day, this approach is looked upon as the 'one' approach that can either prove a conjecture right or wrong, many ​people appreciate both logical positivism and scientism, though they all may view it differently.



In terms of viewing perspectives from both logical positivism and scientism, the perspectives are nearly the same. To view the world through in a scientism-type way, one would be attempting to apply everything that catches their eye to the scientific method, in order to understand and explain it. This is their way of using scientific logic to view and understand the world. Understanding the world better can then allow a person to use knowledge of understanding to do great things. When viewing life through the eyes of a logical positivist, every conjecture must be backed up with an explanation including empirical evidence, in this case, the story of Adam and Eve would  not suffice at all, in terms of describing the beginning of life on Earth (No Offense to Christians as I am a one).
