Alfred Nobel- a Swedish chemist, engineer, innovator, and armaments manufacturer. He was the inventor of dynamite.  He used his fortune to posthumously institute the Nobel Prizes. The synthetic element nobelium was named after him.



Niels Bohr- ​a Danish physicist who made contributions to understanding atomic structure and quantum mechanics, for which he received the Nobel Prize in Physics. He developed the model of the atom with the nucleus at the center and electrons in orbit around it. He worked on the idea in quantum mechanics that electrons move from one energy level to another in discrete steps, not continuously.



Dimitri Mendeleev- was a Russian chemist and inventor. He created the first version of the periodic table of elements, and used it to predict the properties of elements
